525 is a global advisory firm and venture fund investing in technology startups beyond traditional innovation hubs. The brand needed to communicate credibility and scale while deliberately moving away from the visual cliches of the venture capital category. We developed an identity grounded in the idea of Connected Opportunity — the belief that value already exists globally, and growth emerges through connection. This thinking is distilled in the brand’s core message: Because there might be a world outside of Silicon Valley.
Approach
The visual language is built as a dynamic system of soft modular forms, transparency, and layered compositions. Gradients function as a structural element, creating light, depth, and spatial relationships. Through motion, forms can shift and rotate, allowing the identity to remain fluid and adaptable. Large-scale typography acts as a graphic device rather than a static container, while the bold violet palette breaks category norms and enhances visibility across digital and physical environments. The system is designed to work seamlessly in both static and motion applications, from print and outdoor to screens and animated content.
